Two bars, two moments to enjoy with espresso

First a sip of coffee, then a piece of No. 1: The dark chocolate with 70% Criollo cocoa accompanies the espresso without any fruit or spice additions. For the second round, No. 6 joins in. Orange zest adds a fruity accent, while cocoa nibs provide a bite. Two different companions for the same cup and a lovely reason to make the coffee break last a little longer.

The organic designation refers to the two Schokov chocolate bars, not the entire gift basket.

A pure, fine bar for dark chocolate lovers: No. 1 "PUR" showcases 70% Criollo cocoa without any additional flavorings. Full-bodied, wild and intense, hand-crafted in Austria with organic cocoa from Peru. Awarded the Great Taste Award 2014 in London.

The story of this bar begins in the Peruvian rainforest near Machu Picchu. Among tropical trees and regional fruits, small family businesses cultivate the cocoa and give it time to develop. This Criollo cocoa with a slight Trinitario blend forms the basis for the distinctive taste of No. 1. In the small Schokov artisan workshop, it is turned into a hand-crafted bar that puts the cocoa itself at the center. A piece of it with your espresso: that's all this moment needs.

Schokov No. 6 – Cocoa Nibs & Orange Zest, 80 g

Hand-crafted organic chocolate from Austria with 70% intense Criollo cocoa from Peru. Cocoa nibs meet grated orange peel: a combination with bite and a fruity accent to complement an Italian espresso. No. 6 was awarded silver at the International Chocolate Awards 2023.

From Peru to Vienna's Spittelberg

In 2014, a new chapter began for Schokov: The retailer of high-quality cocoa products also became a chocolate maker with its own handmade organic line in the autumn. The cocoa comes from a cooperative near Machu Picchu in Peru. Around 11,000 kilometers away, it finds its new form in the small artisan workshop on Vienna's Spittelberg. In the back room of the shop, new handmade temptations are created. No. 6 brings this story with Criollo cocoa, cocoa nibs and orange zest into your gift basket.

Caffè Mauro Amabile, whole beans, 1 kg

A smooth, balanced blend of Arabica and Robusta beans from Italy with pleasant acidity, a rounded taste and full body. Medium roast, intensity 7/10, pure or with milk. Grind the whole beans to suit before preparation. The 1 kg pack is sealed under a protective atmosphere. Caffè Mauro from Calabria has stood for Italian roasting expertise since 1949.

Felber sponge cake roll with apricot jam, 500 g

"Felber sponge cake roll with apricot jam, 500 g: The fruit-filled roll complements espresso and dark chocolate for a shared coffee break. It can be divided into approximately seven portions and is wrapped in plastic. For fresh enjoyment, please plan for its short shelf life of around four days when giving the gift."

A basket that stays

The hand-woven seagrass basket can be reused as a bread basket or for storage after unpacking. Delivery in various color combinations, while supplies last. A specific color cannot be selected.
