Higher costs. Less security. We are providing concrete help to counteract inflation.

A company going bankrupt is just a figure in the statistics. For the people behind it, it can mean losing their job. For their families, the calculations begin: What is left for food after rent, electricity, heating, and the commute to work?

Austria needs more than discussions about poverty. It needs concrete support that makes a difference in everyday life.

That is why we are combining our special October offers with our initiative against poverty: affordable shopping and helping where financial leeway is lacking.

The wave of insolvencies is not over

The KSV1870 reports that corporate insolvencies remain at a high level for the first three quarters of 2026. At the same time, the latest analysis indicates a significant increase in personal insolvencies.

Not every corporate insolvency means a business is closing. But behind these developments are economic uncertainty, threatened incomes, and people whose financial reserves are dwindling.

In addition, factory closures have been announced: According to ORF reporting on October 7, Ardo is sticking to its decision to close its factory in Groß-Enzersdorf in 2027. This is not an insolvency, but a location decision. Nevertheless, for the employees and their families, the concern about their future is very real.

The bills do not wait for a new job

While incomes are under pressure, the cost of living continues to rise. Statistics Austria estimates inflation for September 2026 at 3.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. In August, it was 3.2 percent.

This price increase comes on top of the price hikes of recent years. A temporarily slower pace of price increases does not make shopping any cheaper.

The fuel price situation is also putting pressure on household budgets. At the end of September, a new fuel price cap was reported. But those who depend on their car cannot simply cut out necessary trips.

Public transport is also becoming more expensive: Vienna's public transport fares were increased in 2026. The ÖBB has announced another ticket price increase of around 3.5 percent for December.

Fueling up, train travel, subway travel, housing, and food: It is not every expense on its own that matters. What matters is what is left from the income after all of them are paid.

We are doing something about the rising costs

We cannot prevent a factory closure or set fuel prices. But we can take action where we work every day: in the supply of food.

With our special October offers, we are offering selected food and beverages at promotional prices. For families, schools, teams, and businesses that have to watch their spending. Concrete offers instead of mere slogans about persevering.

Because fighting the risk of poverty also means relieving people before they run out of money.

Children have nothing to do with it

Children neither caused inflation nor decided on a factory closure. Nevertheless, they have to bear the consequences.

A sufficient snack should not depend on whether there is still money at the end of the month. And support should not only begin when a family sees no way out at all.

Those who have to budget carefully themselves need affordable offers. Those who have financial leeway can help others. For us, both go together.

That is why we are revitalizing our initiative against poverty.

You decide where your help makes a difference

With SANUSVERSUS, you are supporting a school, kindergarten, healthcare facility, or nursing home in Austria with concrete food supplies.

You choose the facility. You determine the products and the quantity. Whether as an individual, family, or business: you decide what contribution you would like to make. There is no minimum order.

Choose the desired products from our range for facilities and enter the facility you would like to support as the delivery address. We will arrange delivery directly to them.

For orders placed as part of our initiative, we will add additional organic snack packages worth 20 percent of your order value, at no extra cost to you. This addition applies to the initiative, not to all October offers.

This means more support for the people on the ground from your order.

Not someday. Now.

Our initiative runs until December 31, 2026. But we do not have to wait until Christmas to help.

Providing a school class with breakfast. Enabling a kindergarten to provide snacks. Supporting a social facility with food. This does not solve every economic crisis. But it is concrete relief where it is needed.

Our response to the current strain is therefore twofold: With the special October offers, we create price advantages for your own shopping. With the initiative against poverty, we enable targeted help for others.

Those who can help do not have to solve everything. They can start where their support makes an immediate difference.
