Pumpkin seed oil is highly digestible due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic or oleic acid. About half of the kernel oil consists of doubly unsaturated linoleic acid. Another 27% of the green-brown gold is made up of monounsaturated oleic acid. In addition to vitamins E, D, and A, the kernels also contain a wide variety of valuable minerals and trace elements - including potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, and chromium.
Pumpkin seed oil has a shelf life of up to one year when stored properly - cool and dark. It contains no chemical additives.
